If any more tax money or printed Fed money is used to bailout irresponsible
homeowners, I'm going to take to the streets of DC and make these OWS
protesters look like Boy Scouts.
I got a great idea, if your upside-down, either walk away or quit your
whining.

No one forced anyone to buy a house during the bubble! Forcing citizens to
now help this stupid people, who are now underwater, is immoral. Mr. Dudley
is trying to help his crony Banks via tax-payer funds in the name of helping
the homeowners. He should be tried for treason.

Great, so let's have the Federal Reserve buy more securities and create more
inflation all in the name of saving homes. When people have to pay more for
gas and food that leaves less to pay a mortgage. It is a zero sum game. The
only ones who make out like bandits are Wall Street Banks and Hedge Funds.
This has gotta stop. If it doesn't we will become another Japan.

This guy is the NY Fed Bank President and sites on the FOMC. He reports to
the FRB NY Board which is headed by Wall Street Banks. He doesn't care about
unemployment or homes. He only cares about more QE easing to juice more
profits for his Wall Street masters. Think about it. He doesn't give a crap
about houses or unemployment. That's not where his loyalty lies.

Of course, when they say "help homeowners" the government is really saying
they want high home prices. Let's not build an economy based off
artificially high home prices like we keep trying to do.

Register for the upcoming demonstration and be amazed by what you see, and
realize that you too can do this with some practice on your part.

I am all for helping people stay in their homes, when banks overlent to them.
I AM NOT for letting these people who borrowed beyond their means use my tax
money to make themselves whole.
Let them stay, and pay all the money back, or turn into renters, either to
the gov't or privates who buy the homes, with fixed rent increases, etc, and
with the possibility that someday the rent might rise beyond what... show

You bailed out the banks, now you want to help people who made stupid
decisions buying homes they couldn't afford. Keep up the good work!

Help should come like a curve in grades at school. The same amount of "help"
should go to everyone. (Just be sure its at lease $38,000 so the small home
I bought within our means and have gladly been paying on time for the
passed few years can get paid off entirely.)

Hey i got an idea stop saving everyone an let it be. You go out an buy a
house that cost 700.000 an only make 300.000 you need to lose that house.
STOP living beyond your means.

Oh, yeah! Help the fools who got in over their heads at the expense of those
of us who used ours! Many small real estate investors would just LOVE to
see a lot more rental vacancies DUMPED on the market. STOP "HELPING" ! All
you are doing is screwing it up MORE!

Dont be stupid the help we need is in the form of regulation so they dont
put a price on society package it and sell it short , then prices will
slowly go back up when the foundation is secure. The debt built on
deregulation should be forgiven after all we could reguard it as treason in
fact maybe we could write it into legislation this time never to deregulate
again . how... show more

I agree. Help homeowners. Help the people who have met the financial
obligations required to own a home. Who have bought and paid for their homes
.
As for people who don't own a thing, but are currently living in a house and
not paying for it? Well...
