Eight months pregnant mother killed by snow plow and her baby that doctors
saved by emergency C-section
Min Lin, 36, was hit while loading groceries into her car in a snow-covered
parking lot in Brooklyn on Thursday morning
She had not wanted to go out in the snow but didn't want to miss an
appointment she had scheduled with her obstetrician
She suffered cardiac arrest and died in hospital but doctors saved her son
The 6lb 6oz baby boy is in critical condition after being without oxygen for
17 minutes before he was delivered
Lin's other son, 5, does not yet know his mother has died
Locals had feared operator's reckless driving 'would kill somebody'
