c********n 发帖数: 369 | 1 I am finishing my Ph.D. degree here in the California and going to New York
at the end of 2008. I can take the EIT in this coming April but I don't know
whether New York accept it or not. Or, with a Ph.D. degree obtained in U.S.
, am I qualified to be exempted from the EIT or FE requirement and can take
PE exam directly? Can someone give me a hint?
Your answer to my question is much appreciated. | b*******g 发帖数: 1095 | 2 You need to go to the specific board to check out their policies. It may be
different from board to board.

Only thing is without GC, you are not eligible to take PE in NY. If you do
you need to wait for app 4 years to take PE. Otherwise I would suggest you
to take in CA, because less experience requirement. |
