Do you know what is the job market for structural engineer (building related
)in US? I was laid off and currently looking for a job. I did not got much
response and kind of helpless now. I am not sure if the job market will be
better in the near future at all? or have to wait year?
How is the job market for us in China? Any experience to share? How much
will be the income for us? And how does this compared to the living cost in
bigger city in CH?

发帖数: 1095 | 2 The market is very bad now for structural engineers, especially for building
engineers. You may want to try those non-building firms in stead that work
on oil piping, power, electricity transmission and distribution, etc. What I
see is that the building market will not be fully recovered in a couple
years at least.

到道路桥梁或采矿石油等其他方向。
海归嘛，那就看你有没有本事了，你是想回去搞学术啊还是继续当工程师？当工程师，
你只能去美国公司，要不你没有任何优势，无论是语言或是规范。 |
