Today,I come here to attend this special event, protest against Jimmy Kimmel
live show, against the ABC network. You may ask me why?
The reason is quite simple. Today I come here because of love. I come here
because I love my family, I come here because I love this country, the
United States of America, I came here because I love all the people living
in this land.
Today, I come here because of believe, I believe United States is still a
country where all men are created equal, where all people have certain
unalienable Rights, the right of Life, the right of Liberty, the right of
Pursuit of Happiness, the right of freedom from Fear, and freedom from
discrimination.
That’s why I am here today to protest against Jimmy Kimmel live show,
against the ABC network. We all knew what happened, in a Kids Table segment
in Jimmy Kimmel live show, a group of children suggested that "we kill
everyone in China" to avoid paying back the national debt.
ABC network, When you allowed Jimmy Kimmel to air racial hatred as a joke,
That was WRONG!
ABC network, When you allowed Jimmy Kimmel to air killing over 1 billion
people as a joke,
That was WRONG!
ABC network, When you allowed Jimmy Kimmel to air the kids, our youngest
generation talking about killing as a joke,
That was WRONG!
ABC network, until today, you have NOT admitted you were wrong,
That was WRONG!
ABC network and Mr. Kimmel
Please think about Chinese Exclusion Act, Please think about Vincent Chin,
Please think about internment camp, please think about segregation, please
think about Rosa Parks,.
Don’t you see enough tragedies caused by racial discrimination and racial
hatred to Chinese American?

You owe us, the Chinese American community a sincere apology. You owe us an

Note that the kids did not suggest killing All Chinese out-of-the-blue. He
was answering Kimmel's subtly racist question that blamed China for the
government shutdown:

This kind of loaded question is VERY manipulative even for adults. I bet 99
out of 100 nonlawyers would miss it. Let alone a 6-year old. Kimmel
trapped the kid into saying something outrageous, he aired the clip for
laughs, then he blamed the kid for it claiming he did not agree with it and
we are humorless goons to not to get his joke. | n***h

shutdown and asked the 6 year olds for solution on paying off the relatively
small debt owed to the Chinese. In response to his racist manipulative
question, a kid suggested killing "everyone in China". This suggestion
appeared to cause chuckles on and off camera. The entire offending clip was
aired as entertainment by Disney and our concerns were brushed off as
DisneyABC continued to insist that the whole clip was some kind of harmless
joke.
Our core points are:
1. Blame-China-For-Everything rhetoric is not a joke. China was a long
time ally during both world wars, and is now a friendly partner in peace and
in trade with the US.
2. Manipulating young kids to talk about mass murder is not a joke. This
kind of jokes happened before in history and paved the way to racial hatred,
hate crimes and Holocaust. We vowed "never again", and we
meant "never again".
3. Airing this kind of offensive and violent content is not a joke. Disney
/ABC failed to protect kids and its audience from the racist and violent
content.
4. Repeated apologies that failed to acknowledge our core concerns, and
instead implied that we are strange to not to get Kimmel's "joke", is NOT
