Well,I am becoming interesting in Jazz is because I know a
guy
who plays Jazz piano in some sense.The guy used to play
classical
piano in China, but is studying Jazz piano in America.I
doubt the
number of people who like Jazz is even smaller than one of
people
who like Classical music.In China, Jazz is often regarded as
typical of lower class, even as opposite side of classical
music.
Probably because classical music is encouraged by the

I like Scott Joplin's piano works too.
The 1st time I heard Rose Leaf Rag", I thought I must be
compose by the same guy
who compose "Entertainer", cause' they are really the same
style. Left hand
plays non-broken jumping cords(I don't know the professional
english
words for that), while right hand plays hapy melody.
I think I basicly understand Joplin's piano works, in a
sense that I can guess
the "color" of the next staff when I heard the previous.
