Summary: Manage a team of analysts to identify, develop and monitor credit
risk management strategies using industry-standard analytical approaches
within a card life-cycle vertical.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of loyalty analysts to develop insights that
result in meaningful relationship and credit marketing and brand
differentiation through loyalty, credit and gift card programs.
Execute a continuous improvement approach to loyalty/relationship management
through the analysis and development of robust champion/challenger tests.
Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all analyses performed by the
strategy development team.
Partner with management and others to anticipate future business changes and
challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans.
Monitor key performance indicators, ensuring the accuracy of results.
Create and deliver insightful presentations to key leaders to influence
direction of the business.
Collaborate effectively with cross functional partners across the enterprise
, including Corporate Marketing, Credit Risk and Finance, to increase share
of sales, deliver a world-class customer experience, and meet business
objectives.
Assist with development of department budget and meet expected expense
targets.
Hire and supervise an efficient and effective team that meets the needs of
loyalty analysis.
Sets clear direction and consistently achieve results.
Demonstrate “One Company” mindset.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, math, economics, statistics, or an
equivalent combination of related education and experience in quantitative
analytics is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of five to seven years of experience in marketing, loyalty or credit
with at least three to five years of experience leading analytical teams to
optimize portfolio outcomes is preferred.
Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and using analytical
tools such as SQL, or SAS is required.
Ability to diagnose portfolio performance and identify opportunities.
Ability to influence others through effective communication and subject
matter expertise, with a high level of proficiency crafting presentations to
support sound, objective-based decision making.
Ability to execute and drive projects to completion in a timely manner and
work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the enterprise.
