马上要搬到Colorado了，想问问板上大侠们有没有对该州有关枪的法律比较
懂的？CO都是崇山峻岭，想来应该对枪这个东东比较友好吧。俺是买买提老人，
但在枪版算新人，先来混个脸熟，如果有同州的XD想一块玩的希望有机会一起

There is no state gun registration, private buy and sell are allowed,
carrying in a vehicle is allowed, concealed carry on person requires a
permit. Gun purchase laws follow the federal laws, no additional
restriction. |

大学的禁枪令. 现在CU和CSU都可以在校园CCW.
郁闷的是靶场比较少而且环境不太好.

如果是public vehicle, 还必须是unloaded, separated from ammo. 那如果是自己的
car可以把loaded gun放在cabine里吗(假设没有ccw执照)? 还是必须放trunk, unloaded?
另外查不到确切的open carry和conceal carry的定义. 把unloaded gun放在那个盒子里, 再把盒子大摇大摆提在手上算open还是conceal?

子里, 再把盒子大摇大摆提在手上算open还是conceal?
not quite sure about this, but heard from one of my colleagues, open carry
means others can see that you are carrying a gun.
so regarding your question, if the box is a gun case then it's an open carry
, otherwise it's conceal
please correct me if my understanding is off.

Different city has different regulations about carrying in private vehicle.
My LD says the general principle is that your private car is considered an
extension of your home, and you can do whatever you want in it.

Denver周边的几个靶场都是室内的, 打起来气闷.
室外的那个老远不说, 周末人都乌泱乌泱的, 而且公园门口还要交买路钱.

Colorado allows a person to carry a firearm in a vehicle, loaded or unloaded
, if its use is for lawful protection of such person or another's person or
property (not for hunting). [C.R.S. 18-12-105(2)] Colorado law also allows a
person to possess a handgun in a dwelling, place of business, or automobile
.

发帖数: 11146 | 10 We don't have a problem with 气闷. My LD has been a member of Firing Line at
Potomac and Alameda for a long time. It is an indoor shooting range. On
weekends it gets very 乌泱乌泱 and usually you have to wait for the next
available booth.
My LD says all shooting ranges he has visited are just as good as and as bad
as each other... So just choose whichever that is close to where you live.

I guess I know what you were thinking when you LOLed. Let me just say giving
one's husband a blowjob in their own car while he is driving is punishable
by law because that is reckless driving, not because one cannot do "whatever
you want to do at home" in their private vehicle.

Indeed, I'm so curious if the latter is reckless driving (the former
definitely is) and not brave enough to test it out. I'm afraid of being
caught by cops and labelled as sex affender...
well, anyway, back to gun law

当然了，大家的发散性探讨也起了推波助澜的作用。
So...... 看来CO还是对枪这个东东非常友好滴，那俺就放心了。俺将来会在
Colorado Springs混，希望和附近的朋友多交流。

我主要是想找一个打猎的同好，这样可以一起去打猎了。

case is openly visible, everyone knows you have a gun on you so does not
count as concealed.
I actually asked my LD the exact same question "what if I carry it in a
plastic grocery bag in my hand while I walk around?" He said that would be
concealed carry and therefore required a permit.
But I don't want to take the risk as there is no statutory definition of "
open carry". I don't even touch the gun case if I am outside my home or my
car, always let LD carry it.
When I get better with shooting I will just get a concealed carry permit,
for the peace of mind.
