I'm now doing dynamic loading on a cube with a centeral hole. The
hole is filled with another material. I guess this should be a
nonlinear dynamics case so I used the implicit direct integration
for the analysis step. The step time is 0.5sec. The maximum
increments is 100. The following is definition in the keywords:

| x**u 发帖数: 21 | 3 Yes. I have tried decrease the minimum step time to 1e-9 and standard works.
However, the total increments will be 0.5/1e-9=500 million. I have to wait for
several days for the results to come out! And I have 125 similar cases to run.
Now I tried linear perturbation and it can give me results in ten minutes. It
makes me think that my part structure is linear or in my case, linear
perturbation can approximate the result.
