Dragon dance will celebrate Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year takes place on January 23 and this is the year of the
Dragon. To commemorate the holiday, which is usually celebrated for weeks
following the official day, the city of New Haven and the Yale-China
Association will be hosting a Lion Dragon Line Dance Parade featuring the
Wan Chi Min Hung Gar Institute Dragon and Lion Dance team from New York on
February 2, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
The dragon dance will start at the New Haven Green corner of Church and Elm
and proceed up Church/Whitney to the Yale-China Association office at
Trumbull and Temple Streets. The dancers will stop along the way to do a
performance at the intersection of Whitney, Trumbull and Temple Streets.
Come celebrate Chinese New Year in New Haven!

Location: Woolsey Hall, 500 College Street, Yale University,
New Haven, CT
It is the first time that we host the Spring Festival Celebration under the
assistance of all the Chinese Students at Connecticut. Led by Yale, this
year's Spring Festival Gala involves University of New Haven, University of
Bridgeport, University of Connecticut, University of Southern Connecticut,
Wesleyan College and Fairfield University as co-organizer.
The programs, provided by all the universities in Connecticut, are much
more diversified than ever before, including 舞蹈，相声，小品，歌曲，古 琴
， 武术，戏曲 and so on. So mark your calender for this big event of all
Chinese people in Connecticut!
The tickets are selling right now, which price $5, $10 and $30. Please
