发帖数: 2284 | 1 各位，我的那台MTB，大概统共跑了八千多miles，最近开始链条打滑（skip chain)。
在nashbar买了cassette和链条换上后，在高速档突然发力时，仍然打滑。
拿到LBS去看，机械师说前面的Chain ring 也坏掉了，要换crankset，另外刹车也要换
。想来这台车原来也不过$300，决定自己DIY，但是不知道该买什么样的crankset和刹
车。
把现在车的照片贴上来，请大家给支支招。再次多谢大家！ |

发帖数: 4396 | 3 budget? if you keep your BB and just replace the crankset, it'll be
somewhere around 40-50. brake pads cost somewhere around 10 bucks a pair
depending on where you get them.
ebay is your best option for cheap new old stock parts. |

The question for the crankset is - According to the photo, is there any
specification I should pay attention to? My cassette is 7spd. The largest
chain ring has 41 teeth. Also should I pay attention to make sure the new
crankset fits the BB or they are all the same?
Regarding break, the mechanic said my rear break needs to be replaced
because the spring is broken.

发帖数: 4396 | 5 there are only two square taper standards, JIS and campy. and the last MTB
campy spec crankset was made in the early 90s. since then everything's JIS
and most every pair uses a 110 or 113mm spindle. just get a set with a
largest ring of 42t or so. plenty choices on ebay.
generic v brakes are a dime a dozen on ebay too. shimano acera/alivio/deore
are all very cheap.

The major difference is the arm length 170 mm vs 175 mm. Which one seems
better in your opinion?

发帖数: 2284 | 11 呵呵其实没那么过分 - 这几千迈是差不多四年时间攒下来的，而且大多是公路骑行。
你每天骑车上下班，加上湾区全年都适合骑车的好天气，每年也该有两三千mile吧。
