明天晚上的舞会，看起来飓风不会刮过来，只是下下雨而已。所以舞会没取消。有兴趣
的可以看看下面今早刚收到的email。
Greetings Dancers!
If you haven't already made plans, come out and join the Rutgers Ballroom
Club and “Fall into Dance” on Saturday, October 3.
It will be an evening of workshops and a dance social geared toward all
students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community-at-large.
Tommy Kang will teach 2 workshops for novice dancers:
6:00 – 7:00pm: Cha Cha basics
7:00 – 8:00pm: East Coast Swing
We are proud to present Ieva Pauksena, a Blackpool and World Professional
Finalist, as our instructor for the experienced dancer workshops!
6:00 – 7:00pm: Foxtrot
7:00 – 8:00pm: Quickstep
You do not need to know either dance; but, you do need to have some ballroom
dance experience.
After the workshops, practice your dance skills during the social in the
Main Gym until 11:30pm. DJ Marc Liebeskind will play music for all the
Standard and Latin dances, as well as some salsa and swing. He will also
gladly play requests of your favorite dances!
Attend with or without a partner. We use a rotation system in workshops, and
everybody dances with everybody during the social. We’re a friendly crowd.
Location: College Avenue Gym, 130 College Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
Free Parking in Lot #30 (behind the gym), #26 (next to lot 30 between
Morrell St. and Bartlett St.), and the College Ave Deck.
Fee includes everything:
Workshop: $15 ($8 with student ID)
Dance Social: $15 ($5 with student ID)
Workshop and Social: $25 ($13 with student ID)
Payment will be received at the door. (Please no credit cards).
