Ha, same here. My PC has only 1G, and Oracle SGA/PGA will take at least
about 400M. I think one needs a minimum of 2G memory plus a strong CPU to
comfortably run Oracle. I had to stop all Oracle services on my windows box.

用小白电脑都是3G的标配，呵呵。。。
其实自己用的话最方便的就是到OTN.oracle.com下载一个10g XE （精简版本），几分
钟就可以装好，也不会占太多资源。 不过ＸＥ好象只能装到windows上。。。

虚拟网卡，给你的机器一个固定的ip地址。google一下就知道了。
原因：因为oracle绑定机器的ip地址到数据库里面。如果你第二次开机自己的IP地址变
了，oracle就没法工作了。而且，oracle还没法完全uninstall。
个人经历：我安装过oracle10.0.0.2（大概这个版本，oracle网站下的，用来学习），
home, 绑定IP，不能完全卸载。自己电脑动态IP，第二次无法工作。后来格式化硬盘，
完全重装才行。
如果有人知道更好地解决办法，请介绍一下。 |

你看看oracle的文件夹底下有没有包含了ip的文件夹名字？

there are upper and lower field. The upper field is Microsoft Loopback
Adapter. Click "Config" -> Advanced -> Network Address, then you can write a
IP there. But it seems this is not the IP used for this adapter. Its IP is
set by lower field "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)-> properties. Then what is the
purpose to set IP in upper field?
