drop down during coding, but doesn't have code formatting with free
version... blah... so I don't use it...
Recently got a copy of SQL Prompt from RedGate. It is an add-on to SSMS.
It does exactly what I needed, intellisense and code formatting. But it's
very sluggish, often the intellisense menu takes a second to response and
slows me down when I write simple queries.
I always hear good things about Toad, specially the q | j*****n

does provide the functionality you need. Just like what you are using the
VS.

发帖数: 36252 | 3 I am using 2k8 SSMS but the intellisense only works when connecting to 2k8
servers. 99% of our servers are on 2k5.
also, there is no code formatting in SSMS. manually making sure code is in
standard formatting can be tiring.
