发帖数: 144 | 6 two kinds of emloyees in the DBA group i am in. 1) exempte 2) non-exempte
hourly. For 1) no OT benefit, you are required to take as much time as
needed to get the job done. for 2) OT 1.5 times normal hourly salary.
1) bonus 13%
2) bonus 10%,
most of us belong to 2). OT has to be approved by manager and then by
director. Usually working for planned downtime, like Sat night for code
release cannot be logged as OT. Usually if I work on Saturdays night, I
will enter fewer hours during weekdays in order to make the total 40 hours a
week.
If there are production issue that requires a DBA to work during non-biz
hours, they usually count for OT.
