Description:
The BA QA Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of business analysis
and quality assurance services on data integration and business intelligence
projects. This position is responsible for collaborating with
manager and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and
goals, and translating that into documentation that will facilitate
development of required features/functions. Collaborates with
architects and developers on design options and documents technical design.
Supervises other BA/QA resources, assigning work and
overseeing completion of tasks. Performs QA functions as needed to
ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
· Supervises BA and QA resources, assigning work and overseeing
completion of tasks. Formulate job descriptions and sign off on
employee time. Review associate interests and training needs and
maintain development plans. Conduct employee performance evaluations
and provide performance coaching to employees. Carry out any
disciplinary actions as needed.
· Ensure that effective delivery of BA and QA services on projects
is achieved by the team. Identify opportunities for BA and QA
development process improvements. Review recommendations with
Manager. Document and implement as deemed appropriate.
· Provide cross training to other resources as needed.
· Meet with customers to elicit business requirements.
· Using standard templates, document business and technical
requirements that enable the development team to understand the purpose of
and build desired solutions.
· Present results of all research and analysis to project teams for
knowledge transfer using appropriate communication methods.
· Test and validate solutions during the development cycle.
Document test cases and ensure QA documentation is secured in compliance
with policy.
· Demonstrate clear and compelling verbal and written communication
skills. Exhibit strong listening and comprehension skills and
quickly synthesize information.
· Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and
deliverables while working within project time constraints.
· Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks in a
timely manner.
· Exhibit ability to make sound and accurate decisions quickly and
explain the reasoning behind these decisions.
· Work collaboratively with business customers, project managers,
developers, business analysts, QA analysts and other team members to build
positive relationships and achieve optimum results in project execution.&#

· Provide 3rd level application support on an occasional basis.&#

· Work independently and use good judgment in knowing when to seek
guidance on issues or projects.
· Be a self-starter with a drive to complete efforts on time and
with high quality.
· Provide regular status reports to Manager and project team,
updating tasks and task estimates, as necessary.
· Through effective execution of job functions and responsiveness
to business issues, build business customer confidence and rapport.
· Exhibit flexibility by adapting to changes and adapting your
approach to better serve the customer and project.
· Solicit and accept feedback from team members and Manager with a
positive attitude and incorporate it into daily work to continually improve
the quality of work.

Requirements:
· 8 years of experience as a business analyst meeting with users,
designing applications, writing specifications and test cases
· Minimum 3 years of experience managing employees
· Prior project management experience
· College degree in Business or Computer Systems related field or
equivalent experience
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Strong organization and task management skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Experience in iterative development methodology is a plus.
· SQL required
· Knowledge or past experience in the following areas is preferred:
Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Planning & Modeling
· Knowledge/past experience working with the following tools
/platforms is preferred: OBIEE, HFM, Siebel (including other CRM
applications), Informatica
