Can I install developer edition using a enterprise edition disk plus known
developer edition key?
reason to do this is because company sql software DVD is scratched.
Installation failed. Not so easy to ask support guy to recreate a new disk.
I know the key and want to use my own enterprise edition disk to install. Is
this doable?
or i need to download developer edition?

should be ok. easy to test. just get to the screen where it asks you for the
product key and enter your developer edition key.
