，可以Waive Credit Card Transaction Fee的，比如以前南亚海啸时，American
Express就干过，MasterCard也同意过。American Red Cross在Negotiate这些Deal时的
手腕更高一些，因为它是Four Star Non-profit Charity。这次也许它能在商讨减低处
理费用时比MIT BBS实力要强一些？
嗯，大家喜欢MIT BBS，想通过它来捐款，很好啊，我昨天也是这么干的，呵呵。
不过，要是鼓动老美捐款的话，最好用这个American Red Cross的网站，应该对他们比
较亲切。

发帖数: 8927 | 7 有一定道理。只是这次肥水都是流到中国的地震抗灾上，中途水分会流失一点的，恐怕
免不了。
中国人的话，可以考虑用MIT BBS或别的方法吧。
要是劝老美的话，恐怕还是American Red Cross好一些，别的Red Cross恐怕都有一些
开销。

多美国的新闻现在已经鼓励人们通过american red cross去捐款了，感觉这应该是这儿
的主渠道。
感觉现在各个美国境内的Red Cross（它有很多分部）开始接受对中国地震捐款了，这
15万捐款cap不可能是真的。

of americans (Have u ever seen that will have no additional mission besides
charity) going to China. I hope our money does not bring trouble to China.
The best way seems to me is going to Chinse gov directly. |

under the international federation of red cross and red crescent
societies. they're semi-official societies.

能直接捐干嘛要通过middle man？美国红十字会也是美国政府的semi一部分，还是算了
吧，谁知道人家拿了钱去又要附加什么条件呢？ |
