发帖数: 52 | 3 Thanks! The Team foundation server requires Windows server 2003. My
development PC is XP Pro. It is kind of troublesome to setup another server
for version control purpose only. Is there any alternatives? I feel MS is
always good at making things more complicated than necessary. :-)
I assume Visio should be able to generate C# codes based on UML models. Is
that correct? However, I still cannot locate Visio from the VS2008 Team
system yet. Any clue?

发帖数: 783 | 4 You don't need VS team edition if you don't plan to use team foudation
server. In terms of version control, MS has sourcesafe prior to team
foudation server, and there are some free software out there like CVS.
Yes, Visio can generate c# codes, I don't remember whether I got visio from
VS or office disks
