但我一个朋友说不需要，有个叫什么successor-in-interest的东东，可以不重新申请
H-1B和GC。预计公司的merge会在明年发生，另一家比较大的公司完全take over现在的
公司。现在有些担心自己的GC process...如果到明年再一切重来，还不如现在就换个公司... |

My case is the same, the lawyer did an amended I-140 for me, which is simple
and quick.
everything else is the same, no need to re-do perm, etc.

发帖数: 1139 | 5 你这种情况应该没影响，因为是公司内部的重组。我们公司比较烦人，最近一直跟其它
公司谈合并的事，然后也一直不知道倒底能不能谈成，什么时候合并。
本来我想等拿了绿卡或者交了485再换工作的（这样也比较容易），现在想如果他们明
年合并，我的绿卡要重新申请的话，还不如现在就换家公司，能马上给申请PERM的呢。
不过，前面虫虫说，至少不用重新申请PERM了，那应该还不算糟糕。。。呵呵

发帖数: 1371 | 6 谁知道呢，去年传说最上面的那个大公司要建个太阳能电站，钱不够，要
把我们的母公司卖掉换钱。今年母公司在北美的业务又重组，名字换了好
几个了。不过对我们来说就像看新闻联播一样，没啥体会。
我原本也是打算140下来以后就找工作，走人。但是最近好像形势变化很
快，想等等看。要是明年形式大好，有希望12年递485，那就多待段时间，
毕竟待个4年还能少赔点钱。

发帖数: 1139 | 7 是啊，如果明年形势好，能解决绿卡问题，我也不想现在换工作重新再来一遍了，而且
有绿卡换工作也比较容易些。
BTW，找到一篇相关文章，关于sucessor-in-interest的，说的还算比较清楚。

月的排期很重要！照目前的形势，你明年应该会current，但不知道具体会是什么时候。

, a name and ownership change) and my lawyer told me as long as I485 is not
pending for 6 months, I will need to redo perm and I140 (my I140 was
approved). My layer sent us all relevant document and my amateur eyes told
me he is right.
