I am not saying these projects are not good. However, I do think
we should think in a different way or scale to gain more benefits
for our legal immigrants.
, I do like the idea to link the immigration right to
taxes paid or hours working in the United States. For example,
for people working longer than a certain amount of time in US , they
should get some benefits. Lots of ppls here are working more than
five or even more years and pay lots of SSNs without getting any
benefits.
So I suggest to make a proposal: H1B _+ 10000 hours of work or
$50000 taxes padi to the government should at least be authorized to
get working rights in US. | G***U

移民局已经发出了内部指引建议，I-485与visa名额分开，内容大概是，不再允许140与
485同时提交，要140批准了485才可以提交，并且，只要140批准了，485就可以提交，
与Visa无关。移民局说，这样可以更有效处理并预计申请量。现在建议就等国务院批准
了，但移民局每年都会写一大堆这类乱七八糟的建议给国务院。所以也没必要太兴奋。
所以如果你是指绿卡的话，你要向议员进攻，如果你是指EAD的话，不如你也担起I-485
提早交这个项目。你觉得呢。但先泼一泼你的冷水，任何要改动现有的移民法的提议，
包括recapture，以及你这个，都不会太容易推行。要有长期斗争的想法，那帮人，不
是有好建议他就接受的。

说是为了diversity，那为啥还有每年抽奖的DIVERSITY VISA LOTTERY？for
employment based visa啥diversity不diversity的，就是存心卡老中。老印就不说了
，那么多大专生。还有韩国人，据说加州5个韩国人里面就有2个是over stay的。 |
