老印能力比老中强不是一点半点啊
Dear Immigration Voice Member,
With your help, your support, your contributions, your active participation
and your selfless volunteering for Immigration Voice, we are the doorstep of
success
Today, Tuesday 29th November, 2011, the House is expected to pass the bill -
H.R. 3012 - to remove per country limits. At around 6:30 PM EST, it is expe
cted to pass with over 400 votes (out of 435) in the U.S. House.
This is something that has not happened in 11 years. The last time Congress
passed a bill on high skills immigration was in Oct 2000. This is no small e
vent.
To continue this effort and push this bill in the Senate we need your help a
nd your contributions. We cannot stop, not now, not when we are this close t
o the finish line. So let's give this one more push and once and for all let
's end the anomaly of per-country in the system.
Thankfully, Congress has considered this bill and part of the reason is that
our requests to end per-country limits emanate from the grassroots efforts
comprising of you and I. It makes all the difference when grassroots send a
loud and clear message to Congress. The outcome is a testimony that in ordin
ary times, people like us can come together to create extraordinary things.
This will be history in the making. Now is not the time to sit back and rela
x. In the next step we all have the shared responsibility to see the bill pa
ss in the Senate. So let's do our share and let's make this commitment to sa
y one more time that we will not take no for an answer.
