after one year of employment, after half year of employment, or even
immediately. It really depends on each individual firms.
However, when estimating time before they submit your PERM you also have to
take into account other factors than internal policies. Although my firm
agreed to sponsor me a green card back in 07, they didn't start until 2009
thanks to bad economoy. |

sponsors person A but not person B. They have no obligation. |
