For assessments completed prior to April 1, 2009, the influenza vaccine was
only required for individuals 6 months to 59 months of age and for adults
ages 50 years and older. For vaccination assessments completed on or after
April 1, 2009, individuals ages 6 months through 18 years are required to
get the flu vaccine during the flu season (October 1 through March 31), and
adults ages 50 years and older.
