the visa availability for his pending Form I-485, Application to Register
Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
As a result of the demand for visa numbers exceeding the available supply,
the Department of State (DOS) has retrogressed the cutoff date for the
following employment-based (EB) categories:
• EB-2 for persons born in India
• EB-2 and EB-3 for persons born in China
Effective immediately, the DOS will only send USCIS authorization on visa
numbers if the visa priority date is earlier than the cutoff date. Visa
requests for the remaining applications that are not allocated visa numbers
will be placed in the DOS “pending” demand file. These cases will be
adjudicated to completion and assigned a visa number when the priority dates
are advanced beyond the applicant’s priority date. | p*******o

。上次还是Backgroud check pending. :( |
