什么叫烂？
据说IEDM现在也挺烂的，熟人会，不过industry和academic 最好的（最有代表性的？
）工作还是发在那个上面。。。

发帖数: 572 | 6 Means very few of people will read SMC. In this area, only PAMI
is readable. It's wasting time to read others. Many good papers
are actually only published in conference, in stead of journals.
Journal like SMC is used for watering.
Many years ago, I read some papers in SMC, but I never read any
paper from SMC again since then.

I knew PAMI, since some of my best dudes are publishing their work on PAMI
however, according to what you said, below PAMI is nothing....
is it true? I know PAMI is best, but no good or better exist?
What is the reason? area issue?

发帖数: 572 | 8 It's unfair to say they are nothing. But in the area, there are too
many papers, and people just don't have too much time to read too many
journals. And many conference papers already have enough details.
