As Embedded Software Product Manager the candidate will support the
development of embedded application software products and drivers for Cirrus
's mixed signal audio and DSP solutions. Candidate is expected to work
directly with strategic customers to define necessary software solutions as
well as oversee the internal software development efforts. Extensive
knowledge of the Android ecosystem is a requirement for this role.
Key requirements for this role are the ability to work with cross functional
engineering teams to define software requirements, to create concise
documentation, and to effectively communicate product and program details
directly with key customers. Further, the ideal candidate will work with
program management and engineering to drive product development goals up to
and including production.
Required Qualifications
BSEE/CS
4+ years experience in embedded software/driver development
2+ years experience in high tech sales/marketing
Development experience with Linux/Android
Knowledge of system level Linux/Android architecture
Senior DSP system engineer:
Required Skills:
- BSEE degree with 5+ years of experience in audio DSP firmware
development.
- Hands on experience of DSP software integration with Qualcomm
Hexagon DSP platform, or other popular SoC platforms.
- Hands on experience of using DSP SDK, preferably the latest Hexagon
SDK.
- Strong DSP and digital filter design background.
- Experience of audio DSP algorithm development, implementation (
Matlab, C and DSP assembly), and testing.
- Hands on experience of fixed-point C programming.
- Proficient in Matlab.
- Understanding of real-time embedded DSP operating system.
- Understanding of Android/Linux.
- General lab experience on amplifier and mixed-signal audio circuits.
- Interpret test results and suggest performance improvement
recommendations.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required, both
written & verbal.
