have no expertise in that area. I plan to tell the editor honestly and
decline the referee invitation.
If I decline the invitation, is this good? Anybody has similar experience?

not your area... editors understand... also, if it is a B journal, it does
not hurt you too much... who wants to publish in a B journal?
