procedure is as following. What about yours?
The school I’m working for uses traditional daily schedule, which means we
have 7 periods a day, and 55 min. per period. Good thing of this schedule is
I can see my students everyday. Because I give them homework daily
including weekends, the first thing happened in the class is checking,
collecting, and explaining the homework. It normally takes about 15 mins.

发帖数: 160 | 2 We only have 47 minute classes. I start my classes with some "warm-up"
exercises. While they are working on their "warm-up", I walk around and
check their previous night's homework. I check their "warm-up" once a week
on Friday. I will also have volunteers show their warm-up problems on the
board. If they get the problems right, they can earn extra credits. They
also have quizzes on both Wednesdays and Fridays. On those two days, they
walk in and expect the quizzes. Some students would come in e | h*******n

theatre or games, etc. They appreciate the class time working on their
homework--that way they do not have to work on their homework at home when
they are done with their sports, which can be quite late. I also tell them
"the time they have in class is the time they won't have at home". If on a
occasion a few of them do act up, I remind them that that is a signal for

发帖数: 1160 | 5 Sounds pretty good, I agree that sometime kids need a little bit relax and
opportunities to take to each other. I think you did a great job on filling
their needs and keeping the class going.
I will teach middle school general music. Next week, I will go to review my
curriculum, then I can share some of my thoughts about my classroom
percedure.
