发帖数: 431 | 1 几年前开年会给了一个 talk 后，一个研究生（当时她的学校和我在一个城市）跑过来
和我讨论一个她的idea, 和我的talk 比较接近，但是她找不到可以支持她理论的实验
数据。她当时的理论和实验方法都不是很成熟。我们这之后一起在周末和节假日 work
了有半年多(modify 了理论和实验方法,try 了一些 preliminary data collection,
but not conclusive -- 主要是没有funding, 只能小打小闹的搞点数据)，然后我就
take AP position 离开了那个城市。最近终于把整个实验 run 了一遍（用了我的一个
research grant)，得到的结果非常理想，打算 submit for paper, 我写 paper。
现在的问题是不知道该怎么credit authorship -- 谁是first author, corresponding
author, etc? |

发帖数: 360 | 2 If you only list her and yourself, you can give up the first authorship. If
you have a student as an author, list her as second author or co-first
author. You need to inform her first that you want to publish the idea. She
should give you her thoughts. Surely, you are the corresponding author.

发帖数: 628 | 6 觉得发 paper, 通常 contribution 按最初 idea 排，所谓 intellectual
contribution。至于用的谁的钱，那是 corresponding author 的事儿。 |

关键是谁做出来的

authorship will never hurt you.
