我是一个牛校onsite面试的最后一个candidate。结束时department chair说in two
weeks 会有结果。回来之后，
search committee chair 确说要several weeks才会有结果。我是很听话的人，一直没
问，也不敢问。已经一个月了，还
是没任何动静。sigh! 怎么办呢？ |

But it took more than one month to notify her, because of going through the
offering process very slow.
LD is also waiting for her interview result. It is hard to ask, even if you
know someone there personally. You need to have a good reason to ask, such
as you got another offer...

最近被“等”折磨的不行，绿卡申请去年7月就交了，“等”到现在还没结果，实力不
强，又不敢PP。现在很有一种可怕的可能就是，最后什么也没拿到，目前的工作也到期
了，结果全家都得走人，好好的一个家可能就没了。sigh!怎么办呢？ |

发帖数: 813 | 14 其实我挺不喜欢这种"赌博“式的心理的--好象赢了就什么都有了，输了就立刻一无所
有。感觉这也不是什么健康的世界观。所以我现在是这么想的，不知道对不对：
赢了呢也可能随时一无所有，比如车祸，cancer，地震什么的； 输了呢，至少还有亲
爱的LD和可爱的孩子，为了他们回国做个不是很如意的工作也值得了。而且明天的事是
我不能掌握和预知的，但是今天的事是我在我的掌心里的，所以我可以珍惜我现有的每
一天，打扮的飘飘亮亮的，过的开开心心的，管它想明天会怎样。
找工作都找出人生观和世界观了来了。不过我现在真是这么想的。这辈子要经历不知多
少灾呀难呀的，最后还是得一死。要是我现在能摆正这个心里，也TMD值了！ |
