My offer:
Teaching load: 4/4 , i.e., winter 4, Fall 4, summer/spring depend on
enrollments. In fall, the first semester my teaching load is 3, that .25
release is for developing scholarship plan.
Salary: 62000/8month
Area: mid-west university town, 30 minutes away from major metro area.

counted as 4 courses per semester. In such case, it is manageable.

enrollments. for me the first semester is 3 new courses.

40% sounds like being based on different pay rate. but i am not sure.

我也在teaching school，但一学期只要上1到2个lecture section， 其他都是lab啊，
supplementary class啊，一点都不累耶。。。。
至于工资嘛，每年涨点，慢慢就多了呗 |

我们学校是12个contact hours，这个contact hours包括lab了，lab三个小时，就是三
个contact hours，lecture一个小时，也是一个contact hour。
关于薪水，呆的越久就越高嘛，我看每年都涨个百分之三到五耶。涨个5~10年9个月也
和工业界12个月差不多了。
