published papers. I only have two conference papers under submission, but I'
m planning to submit an NSF proposal based on my big idea.
I contacted one NSF PM regarding the proposal (although I didn't tell him my
idea in detail), and the PM asked me to send him an abstract... Should I
send him one? I'm concerned that he might share my idea with others...
btw: The deadline is still a couple of months away.. | a******l

发帖数: 241 | 3 注意，NSF grant review panel里很有可能有你的竞争对手，就算他不把你abstract
share给别人，到时候完整proposal也要给别人review，他们会先据你，然后再剽窃你
的idea，会死的很惨，我身边就发生过
一楼的回复很有道理，先发paper，而且paper发表了的话 proposal 的分量重很多，一
石二鸟，问题是你一篇paper也没有，属于是学术根基基本为零，不知道你的“idea”
到底是不是有那么值钱 | a**y

你先publish再说, 等下一个cycle吧
除非你确定在2个月内能发表, 让大家都能注意到.
