头。一年到头都在写proposal。

发帖数: 61690 | 6 无所谓了，10月之前交都算fisical year 2014，在明年10月前都能拿到钱。
这些年，因为国会不按时过budget,很多2月交的，都是等到第二年4月才有消息。

6月份交的申请将和10月份交的一起审查（明年2月）。作为一个补偿，6月份交的申请
可以抽回去，修改之后然后再重新交上去。
（但是这样貌似会对10月份交的人有点不公平），而且这样貌似会把2月份的评审弄得
非常的混乱。但是没办法了。。。
The October meeting has been formally cancelled. All applications that were
to be reviewed in October will now be reviewed at the February meeting,
along with the new submissions for that meeting. The applicants to the
October meeting (June/July submissions) will be given the opportunity to
withdraw their applications and resubmit a refreshed application for the
February meeting.

申请）改到明年2~3月了。其实就是直接把10月份的study section 取消了，然后把6/7
月份的申请和10/11月份的申请一起安排在明年2~3月一起审评。
但是对于council meeting,不知道是不是也这样安排.我的直觉应该不是。因为council
meeting涉及的人比较少，应该重新安排还是可以的。

很烦的是明年2月的meeting会是online meeting,估计会很乱

不知道会有什么后果。如果study section 还是那些人的话，那么他们必须看两倍量的
申请，估计会让他们很烦躁吧？

on and will be scheduled as teleconference or internet based meeting in the
next two months. These applications will go to the Jan-Feb council as usual.
This is great news. Otherwise reviewing two rounds of applications together
next Feb is going to be a huge mess and a real disservice to all the
applicants.

or December. But good news is this won't get delayed to next Feb and be
combined with proposals from the Oct-Nov cycle.

As indicated, NIH is revising its schedule for cancelled peer review
meetings. Initial plans that would have resulted in many applications being
bumped from January to May Council sessions caused concern with many PIs,
especially those with no other support. NIH heard the community’s concerns
and has revised its plans. Writing in her blog, Dr. Rockey, NIH Deputy
Director for Extramural Research said, “Today my office issued a new NIH
Guide notice, announcing that most review meetings originally scheduled
during October will be quickly re-scheduled to enable applications to be
considered at January council. [Tuesday’s] Guide notice supersedes the
guidance from last week. While we’re going to do everything we can to
review of all the applications, scheduling complexities may mean that it
will be necessary to reassign some small number of applications to May
council. The Guide notice provides additional details about how and when
those reassigned applications can be ‘refreshed.’ The rescheduled October
receipt dates have not changed and are described again in the new notice.
November deadlines still stand. Progress report due dates that were due in
October were extended to November 4.”
