won't get the grant because NIH doesn't have to fund you regardless your
score and that's why counsel meeting exist.

发帖数: 286 | 6 兄弟有一个类似的问题，现在有一个R21得分不错，有很大希望能拿得下来，2月的
council meeting。同时又准备申请另一个TRANING grant（非NIH,完全不同的AIM和病
人，明年7月启动），但是那个FOUNDATION规定在得到他们家的grant时其他FUNDING不
能超过10万/年。
现在问题是能否请求PO宽限几个月？等我拿到那个foundation的项目后再启动R21?否则
损失几十万多可惜啊，这年头搞点钱多不容易啊。

d better talk to your NIH grant officer first and get advice from her (
better to call her/him first). Based on my experience, the NIH grant
officers are very nice and considerate.
