Is there any significant limitation or disadvantage being a faculty at
College of Technology compared with at College of Engineering? Do both apply
and compete for the same funding opportunity?

weight on theory. I do not see an apparent difference for funding as long as

发帖数: 154 | 3 I do not see why people do not apply for College of Tech's tenure track
position? It is easier to get tenure (less funding and publication required)
, the teaching load is actually the same as College of Engineering (2~3
courses per year). The salary is at the same level.
And College of tech encourage faculty to open small business, develop
external industry.
Actually I do see regular faculty in College of engineering is not qualified
for College of Tech, since COT requires multiple year industry experience.
Any thought I missed?
