许多同事都说要在独立后的LAB出第一篇paper
证明自己independent之后
才有机会拿得到第一个R01
这paper 自己当一作也当corresponding author行吗?
不知道是只要没以前老板名字就好
还是得一定要在senior author的位置 让学生当一作才行? |

第二，如果有文章，只要你以前老板名字不在上面就可以。

跟学生一起做着
不介意让学生当一作
但是学生得要至少出一半以上的DATA才能当一作
这是我的标准

paper if they correct figures or words in the paper. Guess what? His
students' CV looks amazing and after few decades, most of his students are
chairs or deans of schools.

发帖数: 841 | 10 PI当第一作者没任何意义。我的通常做法是当我自己鼓捣的project做差不多了时候，
让学生也加进来做一小部分，好当第一作者。

我有CNS文章，每片都有Commentary Paper。

reviewed with other new PI grants). After review, most institutes give a
higher payline to the new investigator. So you answer is yes. R21 does not
care if you are new investigator or not.
Btw, you have CNS, you should also try Searle, Pew, etc. because your odd is
way higher than people like me without NCS.
