We are writing because the xx public-access database xx indicates that you

conducting to evaluate the xxxx peer review process. To explore whether text
analysis could be a useful adjunct to peer review, we are analyzing the
words and descriptors used by xx peer reviewers in their critiques. We are
asking if you would be willing to send us your Summary Statement(s) from
that award. [NOTE: If your grant was funded on the first submission we are
requesting that you send us the single Summary Statement associated with
your application, but if your grant was funded as a revision we are
requesting the Summary Statements from both the unfunded and the funded

will not know whether or not you share your materials with us. Your
