wife.
Never have a formal wedding reception, no bridal gown. Only went back to
China for a wedding picture taken
in a bridal studio. Some time i think i miss out a lot, when seeing all
those pretty wedding pictures and nice
bridal gown. i know marrying Mr. Right is most important for a little woman
like me : )
So how many of you have your own wedding reception? |

I think I am gonna spend 20K at least on a wedding...the groom has to be
worth it...

will cost about $20,000 in the USA.

Back in the second half of 2008, I have this strange feeling about my job.
After dating my back then boyfriend for about 2 years, we decided to get
married on 08.08.08 in our local city hall. It's a small ceremony with only
3 attendees. No reception, no formal wedding pictures taken.
Then soon after this paperwork marriage we filed for an adjustment of status
, then 4 months after the wedding, I got laid off...
But then my mom really wish we can have a regular ceremo |

reception cost very high in some largest
cities in China as well.
The wedding studio picture in HK may cost 10 times in China. That's the
reason i went to Shanghai took those
pictures instead of in HK.

wedding, because $$ spent on
weddings is just like "pouring water"....
I only had 12 tables (minimum for the hotel we picked)
the photographer+videographer package we hired in HK cost over 3000usd
So for pre-wedding photos, we decided to do it in the US because of:
1. I like the natural setting of New England, unlike studios or scenes in HK
, it's too "artificial"
2. pricing. it can also get around 3000usd for a full day

building in MK area and I believe they
are referring the Langham Place as 旺角地標.
Reception took place on the 42/f, star room, with a pretty chinese name for
the room: 星願亭

are bigger than others, hence a
higher minimum charge.
The max. tables in Star Room is about 20 tables and the minimum charge is
HKD$120,000
