发帖数: 4571 | 1 海钓时, 见人用过PENN的BAIT FEEDER REEL, 没问型号. PENN的牌子, 应该不错吧, 至少
海钓的REEL, 很有名.
不过, 上周六在船上, 也见到一老头, 从十几岁, 开始用PENN, 用了几十年. 前两年, 别
人介绍OKUMA的REEL, 他不信. 人家送他一个, 结果一发不可收. 从COD, TUNA, 到SHARK,
全换成OKUMA的REEL了. | b**s

"The Captiva's seem pretty good. Unlike most of Penn's line, they are
manufactured overseas, hence the lower costs. Search for "captiva" on the cag
board, several people tried them, with a range of opinions."
Made in China就是牛啊, 虽然我们只拿到7%的利润, 但就是比Made in USA 有优势. 原
来我看penn 类似reel 都$100 多, 所以只能考虑日本的. 现在终于可以不买他们了.
啥时候, Van Staal也国外制造了, 俺也买个摆着..... | L******r
发帖数: 522 | 3 Van Staal中间那根轴是钛的，新款线轮摇柄也是钛的，spool什么的是所谓做
spaceship的铝做的，看过在Van staal工作的人在local论坛上发的帖子，说是每个线轮
都需要很多手工来做。所以没法大批量生产。虽然价钱不便宜，但是好象生产厂家没怎么
赚钱，这些年，这个牌子被卖来卖去好几次。现在是被zebco(原来一个做低价线轮的公司，Zebco, Quantum, Lew's, Rhino and Martin都是他们的牌子)买下了。

sales woman there! He brought me one combo before. Now the rod had already
broken. But the reel is still running good! He told me never buy Shakespear
brand:)
As I know, Zebco moved all their assemble department to China. Only sales,
marketing and other administration group are in US

发帖数: 4571 | 5 我是从Shakespear的两个combo, 开始起步的, 所以对这个老牌子, 有一点点的感情. 但
不会买它的任何东西了. 他没说为什么不买这个牌子的吗? 在我的印象中Zebco 等等的
牌子都很烂. 我不会钓鱼的时候, 都没想过要买它.
我的那个朋友说他尽量避免中国制造的. 但有时候,他发现, 一比较价钱, 他被迫去买中
国的:-) 其实, 他推荐给我的东西, 真的都很好, 也真的都是中国造的.
