It is time again. The Suncoast Association of Chinese Americans (SACA) will
present annual celebration of the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese
Traditional Food Festival (indoor) on the weekend of September 17, 2011,
Saturday, from 5:30pm to 8pm at Safety Harbor Community Center, 650 9th
Avenue South, Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
Moon Festival celebrations have been held throughout Asia for well over 1,
000 years. This holiday is a time to reflect upon the bounty of the summer
harvest, the fullness of the moon, and the myth of the immortal moon Goddess
, Chang O, who lives in the moon. The Moon Festival is often compared to a
sort of "Chinese Thanksgiving" because of its spirit of gratitude and its
inclusion of abundant food — including the popular moon cake.
This event will brings music, games, face painting, and Chinese traditional
/Asian cuisine, and culture to the Tampa Bay community. There is $1
admission fee, you can purchase meal ticket(s) on site; $1 per cuisine
ticket.
SACA member will get one free Moon Cake at the admission booth. For non-
member friends, you will get a special offer if you sign up 2011 membership
at this time. For your convenience, we have attached a registration form
for you and your family to fill out and bring to the admission booth.

食小吃節！
在今年的小吃節上，Tampa Bay 地區的多所中文學校，舞蹈俱樂部，體育隊以及臺灣商
會/同學會將同時亮出幾十道拿手的各地特色小吃。您可以品嘗到美華協會提供的有機
小月餅，台東鐵路便當;新竹肉粽;高雄豆沙粽;彰化肉圓;台南滿月油飯;嘉義香菇肉羹;
長城凉麵;鸡汁馄饨;蛋烘糕;雞絲拌麵;香椒涼粉;麻薯;生煎包;綠豆湯;咖哩肉捲;钟水
饺;卤肉饭, 炒面,炒饭,炒米粉,茶叶蛋,麻辣凉粉,凉拌海白菜,水晶鸡爪,酒酿元宵,爱
玉冰,凉拌鸡胗;台灣刨冰;台式香腸;牡蠣煎蛋;台式炒米粉;台式卤味-蛋,豆干,牛肉,鸡
翅;Dragon Rice with Red Bean; Fabulous Mongolian with special vegan sauce;
BBQ stick, with Spicy Bits, cucumber, zucchini, pineapple etc; Au Lac Salad,
with jicama, vegan ham etc. 波霸奶茶,台式蛋餅,台式蘿蔔糕;Vietnamese subs,
egg rolls, sour soup; Thai chicken w/ rice, Thai Ice Tea w/lime

美食節還會穿插音樂，兒童舞蹈, 遊戲, 劃臉 等文藝表演，您在大飽口福的同時，也
可以大飽眼福呢。
