我不是高手,不过有个老美同事年纪轻轻但是经常跟他父母去wine tasting,大概N年了,应
该
算高手了.他跟我曾经推荐下列几款说是比较物美价廉的供你参考
Kenwood Zinfandel.: ~$12. Not quite as good as the Reavenswood but a bit
cheaper. Good value.
Rodney Strong Cabernet: ~10-12: Not as good as the "knotty vines" below but
a
little cheaper.
Rodney Strong "Knotty Vines" cab: Seen this on sale at $13 but generally is
$18 or so.
Coppola Cab: ~$15. Fairly soft blend.
Ravenswood Zin: ~$15-18. Needs to breath a while before it's good. Lots of
great flavor and pretty powerful so it wouldn't be great for a chicken or
fish. Good for a red sauce pasta or steak meal.
St. Francis Cab: ~$25-35. One of my favorites. Kind of expensive but very
good.

上次买了瓶杏仁酒，至今只喝过一次，约1 盎司。

发帖数: 9785 | 12 红酒10块以下难得有见到可以喝的。不过现在有很多wine club那种第一批次平均7块左
右一瓶寄到家里的可以试试，都不差。我不大会品酒，只有比方8块钱的跟20块的，20
块的跟50块的才能分得出好坏，也没啥好点评，不过一般Costco在外面促销的那些酒都
不错的。
要研究红酒得有些酒量还要有钱，品酒能力都是靠喝好酒喝出来的，咱们穷人只好偶尔
开开荤了。
每个人口味不同的。周末HEB或Kroger都有wine tasting. 个人认为10刀以上的红酒都
还算decent.

了。有时候喝泸州老窖需要撞日，日子好了下去没什么，能喝很多，日子不好，一口下
去就感觉刺激得要命，最后一次别人倒了一两多给我，喝半天才喝掉。

你如果不指明要classic martini, 他们给你端来的一般是比较甜的配果汁类的martini.

Riesling好像和食物的化学作用不强，它自己比较fruity, 挺香的，可以直接喝。我这
边Costco有个Chateau Ste. Michelle, 便宜又好喝. 曾经costco卖过一种叫Kongfu
Girl的，even better，但是再去就没有了。
White wine比较cripy, 就是清香，和BBQ，凉菜，一般的辣菜都很配，我比较喜欢
pinot grigio, Sauvignon blanc，具体哪里出的，可以换着品尝。另外推荐尝试智利
和新西兰的，相对便宜，味道好 （大概$10到$15就很不错了）
Red wine比较醇厚，追求的就是和肉菜的配合，尤其是比较thick的，油份大的菜，
wine的效果很明显。Sauvignon cabernet比较浓郁，merlot淡一些，pinor noir味道比
较奇特，便宜的不好喝。总之红酒至少要$20以上的才有惊喜，炖一锅好肉，配上好的
红酒，hmmm... :D...
Red wine推荐尝试各大名产地的，那里产的酒，即使是$25的，都可能有特殊的香味,
worth your money most of time.
以前也喝zinfandel，后来发现没啥意思，pink就是rose wine，根本算不上真正的wine
，红的没什么香味，就是苦酒味。:P

something a bottle (can't remember the exact winery or brand).
Another interesting tidbit about the movie Sideways (2004) is, after the
movie release, the sales of Merlot wines, one of most popular red wines,
dropped, but pinot noir increased. :-)
Also, Chardonnay is one of most popular white wines.

OK, (受版主奖励和鼓励) let’s look at your list. Basically, for each line of
wine on your list, the first half (before the comma) is the name / type of
the wine / grape variety, and the second half (after the comma) is the
winery / maker / brand.
For example:
Brut prosecco, tullia – Prosecco is an Italian white sparkling wine. It is
made from Glera grapes, and Prosecco is also an Italian village near Trieste
. So, all together, it means an Italian white sparkling wine, made from
Glera grapes in the Prosecco village (or its surrounding regions), just like
what Champagne means. Brut is a sweetness indicator for sparkling wines:
Brut Nature – no sugar added, sugar content 0 – 3 gram per liter; Extra
Brut 0 – 6 gpl; Brut 0 – 12 gpl; Extra Dry 12 – 17 gpl; Dry 17 – 32 gpl;
Demi Sec 32 – 50 gpl; Sweet 50 + gpl. So, Brut is a little bit or somewhat
sweet. Tullia is a brand from the collaboration of Montelvini (a vineyard /
winery in Italy) and T. Edward Wines (a wine importer / wholesaler in the
US). So, it’s more or less like a store brand, someone (Montelvini in this
case) produces goods (Prosecco in this case), and sticks someone else’s (T.
Edward Wines in this case) “name” (Tullia) on it, instead of their own.
Pinot Grigio molino a vento – Pinot Grigio is the most popular white wine
produced in Italy. Molino a Vento is an Italian winery / wine maker / wine
producer.
Chardonnay, dombeya – Chardonnay is a white wine, one of most popular wines
/ grapes around world. Many sparkling wines, including Champagne, are made
from chardonnay grapes. Dombeya is a South African vineyard / winery.
Malbec, terra rosa Mendoza – Malbec is a red wine; and Terra Rosa Mendoza
is an Argentine wine producer.
Pinot noir, duckhorn "decoy" – Pinot noir is a red wine, specifically
mentioned in the movie Sideways (2004); and Duckhorn is a California
vineyard / winery in Sonoma County, and Decoy is its brand (don’t remember

So, your list of wines is pretty diverse. :-)
In other countries, such as France, wines are often produced in “blended
fashion”, meaning a particular wine may be produced from two or more
varieties of grapes. In the US, it used to produce single variety wines, but
now they start to produce blended wines (called Meritage wine). (I see
there are a couple of blended wines on your list.)
Regarding food and wine paring, in general, or as a rule of thumb, red wines
pair with red sauce / dark color / heavy food; and white wines with white
sauce / light color / light food.
BTW, anyone read the news about a lawsuit against some of California
wineries / wine makers that in some of their cheap wines (3, 4, or 5 dollars
a bottle) there are dangerously high level of arsenic (砒霜)? So, don’t
buy cheap wines. 便宜没好货. :-)
