But not Raiders. The reason is fairly simple -- Al Davis can't afford him.
Raiders have been watching their budget very closely in these several years
and is unwilling to hire high-profile HC or assistants.
Chargers? Unlikely too. Its GM doesn't like strong minds around.

Another thing is, Gruden is still young and he needs job.
John Madden can say whatever he sees, because he is perfectly fine to retire
at any time and he is a HOFer. He doesn't care. That's why we need him back!!

For owners, salary cap is sort of like "free money".
It's from the league pool. Every team gets an equal share.
But coaches salary is from owners' own pocket.

the new blood is not promising. Larry England (why drafted him?) Buster
Davis (as indicated by his first name) Carson (need more time)
OL (why not sign ur star LT? stubborn), I don't even mention DL (all 3
