In August, we asked you UK NFL fans to tell us which teams you like – not
support, but like. We also, asked which teams you dislike and the ones that
don’t elicit any particularly strong reaction from you.
The Packers, Jaguars, 49ers, Bears and Seahawks are the most ‘liked’ teams
. Whereas the Titans, Jets, Cowboys, Texans and Redskins are the least ‘
liked’.
The teams you ‘dislike’ the most? Patriots, Cowboys, Jets, Steelers and
Giants – although the Seahawks (6th) and 49ers (9th) are clearly polarising
franchises. The least ‘disliked’ teams are the Jags, Bills, Bengals,
Cardinals and Titans.
Finally, we removed the ‘neutral’ ratings and created a Favourability
Score, which is essentially a ratio, how many fans expressing an opinion
like a given team – a category that the Jaguars are statistically
dominating.
The Jags score of 6.09 means that for every fan that is negative towards
them – there are 6.09 that are positive. Conversely, the Jets and the
Cowboys are the Millwall of the NFL – no one likes them (and hopefully)
they don’t care – their 0.16 score means that they have six detractors for
every one who holds a positive opinion of them. | t********t
