Manning has played 37 games in October during his 11-year career. The Giants
are 30-7 in those games, good for an .811 winning percentage. That makes
Manning best of any quarterback with a minimum of 20 starts in league
history during the month.

Mr. October," Coughlin joked prior to Wednesday's practice at the Quest
Diagnostics Training Center. "Reggie Jackson is a good friend of mine.
