According to a report from CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, there
are growing rumors that current Broncos QB could soon be linked to an
ownership group with possible interest of purchasing an NFL Franchise.
Manning, the former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback and all around state
legend, might have interest in following in the footsteps of current mentor
John Elway. Peyton, with ties to current Browns owner Jimmy Haslam (and
brother of Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam), would have just about every
resource imaginable for advice and guidance.
La Canfora references that league sources are beginning to speculate that
the current Tennessee Titans ownership could possibly be looking to glance
around in 2015, and with valuations currently upward of $2 billion, the
family of former Oilers/Titans owner Bud Adams would fetch a pretty penny in
the open market.
So who could join Peyton in the ownership group? Many have linked Fred Smith
, Tennessee resident and CEO of FedEx, as a possible candidate. Smith, a
current minority owner in Washington, has been sourced as hoping to become a
majority owner of his own and Tennessee would certainly be the perfect
place to continue his own legacy in the Volunteer state. The Memphis
resident, coupled with Manning in any capacity, would be largely considered
a home-run to Titans supporters. |

完全没有任何说话权。最后前老板不得不全部卖掉。
