SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) - Jim Harbaugh may be getting ready to become
Michigan's head football coach.
Chatsports.com reports that two independent sources confirm he is set to
announce he's taking the position Dec. 30. That is unless he backs out on
the verbal agreement he reportedly has made with Michigan Athletic Director
Jim Hackett.
The sports site reports Harbaugh's agent has been in contact with U of M
since early November, telling Michigan Jim wants to return the football
powerhouse back to its winning ways. There are also reports that more than
50 former Harbaugh teammates from Michigan have asked him to take the
position.
Harbaugh, who is currently the coach of the 49ers, reportedly wouldn't make
a move until after the season was over. |
