I don't know what point you were trying to make. Players take less money for
other consideration all the time. Look no further beyond Tom Brady. less
money
does not mean worse deal. I believe he still chose the best deal in his
evaluation.
ps. I was objectively analyzing his contract and strategy. I was not biased
toward either way. I don't know why you took it as a shot to Cousin. I have
always been very impressed by Cousin, dating back to the 2 UW/Michigan State
games between Russel Wilson and him. They both have been a heck of QB. And
that's why I was comparing them again in my post.

The Jets, sources said, came in with the highest bid, and were willing to
give Cousins $30M per year – at least – on a three-year deal, also all
fully guaranteed (Cousins can make up the $6M difference between that offer
and the Vikings offer if the QB hits all incentives, including a Super Bowl
incentive, in the Vikings contract).
Would the Jets have gone as high as $100M fully guaranteed on a three-year
deal? Quite possibly, sources said. But the process never formally went that

called hater, you will learn.
You stereotyped everyone and started shooting at people when they open mouth
. When you took it personal, I will take it personal too. What you just did
will bring more shame and hate to Cousins.
Let me give you one stat that deserves more respect than the size of the
player's contract.
Being the highest paid player in nfl, Cousins' playoffs stat
In only two games: (0-2)
* 32/56 (57.14%)
* 360 yards
* 1 TD/ 0 INT
* 82.4 Rating
* 6 sacks
If you blame it on the team, then you will have to give credit to the
Vikings if he goes deep in the playoff with the Vikings.
Cousins may have earned the money, but he has not built his legacy yet. He
will still be 1 or 2 tiers below other QBs who have played a ton of playoff
games. That's not disrespecting Cousins, but simply respecting the others
who actually earned their legacy. Cousins has the potential and a bright
future, but not up there yet at the moment. So stay humble young man.
