发帖数: 155 | 1 guys, I am trying to decide between TaylorMade R7 and Cobra FP. I tried
these two head to head in stores two times. I was able to hit
pretty good and consistent on both. I kinda like the feel of R7 more when I
hit the sweetspot. The guy in Golfgalaxy told me they are similar, FP
offers more
forgiveness while R7 offers better feel.
I started the game 6 months ago, and am using a beginner set. I started with
trying Cobra S9(built with more forgiveness than FP), but surprisingly

GolfDigest 2007 Jan issue has a complete list of the golf equipments -
driver, fairywood, iron, putter and balls.
The both get Golden awards, and are highly recommened. Obviously $500 beats
the $700. I would say.
I would recommend the Cobra FP.

clubs are good clubs. go with the one you feel most confident with. price
difference usually should not be a consideration assuming you will using
these for a while.

quite low at $425 (retail $700) so I am not 100% sure if it's a knockoff or
not... but I should be able to know once I get it. Will report how it works
out... hehe
I heard R7 is better feel and less forgiving, I did feel the better feel
part, but didn't notice less forgiving than Cobra, so I decided to go for it
, plus it may stay with me longer compared to Cobra, assuming my game will
improve quickly ... hehe

i've been a taylormade fan for a long time. i never like the feel of
callaways for some reason, and these days the taylormade irons are the best
out there since the last generation (rac). most likely i will stick with
taylormade for my next set too.
