p***t 发帖数: 51 | 1 I am considering adjusting the lie angles of my clubs. Question is how much
it will cost me, and where I should go? I never had this kind of experience.
Please advise... | p***t 发帖数: 51 | 2 Any information is appreciated...
The reason I am asking this is that I tried another guy's fitted ping clubs,
and suddenly I hit much straighter. He suggested that both of us are
shorter than average, 5'7"-5'8". The preset lie angel of my clubs are too
upright, which may contribute to my hook.
I do not know... Is this worth it? | p***t 发帖数: 51 | 3 I am killing this thread myself. I have read some articles like this one: http://www.golfspyder.com/golf-club-lie-angle.html
I am in the regular lie angel zone, no need to adjust. | t*****n 发帖数: 467 | 4 I think you can use that chart as a ref, but lie angles are more determined
by your swing. Besides, the standard lie angle defined by different company
may be slight different. What's the color code for your friend's ping iron? If
you find significant difference by swinging his club, then you may need get
fitted. Well, that's just my opinion. The fitting session may cost 30~50,
and lie angle adjust may cost 3~4 per club. Good luck.

| p***t 发帖数: 51 | 5 Thank you very much typoon! I have no idea about the color code of his ping
set.
However, I just took a careful measure of myself and by golfspyer, i am in
the regular range.
Here is the suggested lie angle and length of shaft:
Lie Angle Length of Shaft
Driver 50 degrees 44.5 inches
3-Iron 58 degrees 38.5 inches
This is what I have:
Lie Angle Length of Shaft Club
Driver 59 degrees 45 inches Cleveland Hibore Graphite
3-Iron 61 degrees

You iron, Rac os2 is target to beginner, since beginner often slice the ball
. so I guess taylormade make the beginner iron more upright trying to
eliminate slice. If you look at the spec of some player's iron, such as R7
TP or rac MB TP, you will find out they are more flat. I falls into the
standard range too by looking at that chart. But a fitting session (Free in
a golf show) indicated I need 2 degree flat. I play a set of ping iron with
